Lyndsey Jacobs

Lyndsey is a Community Safety Advisor for SCFNZ. She has worked across the criminal justice and crime prevention areas for most of her working life, and has been involved in rehabilitation and reintegration services in both prisons and probation, including the training and management of custodial staff.

Lyndsey has spent over 10 years mentoring and advising NGOs and local authorities around New Zealand on crime prevention and community safety initiatives, ranging from situational crime projects to interventions with specific target groups, that have supported a reduction in crime, offending and victimisation. She is currently a trustee of Community Patrols New Zealand.

Lyndsey has teaching qualifications, a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.
